"MIAMI, March 22 (UPI) -- Former Pittsburgh Steelers Pro Bowl linebacker David Little has died in Miami at age 46, the team announced on its Web site Tuesday.
Little died Thursday when he suffered a heart ailment while lifting weights at home. In the midst of lifting a barbell, it fell onto his throat and he suffocated, the team said in a statement.
The younger brother of Miami Dolphins Hall of Fame offensive lineman Larry Little, he was drafted by the Steelers during the seventh round of the 1981 NFL Draft out of the University of Florida."
