Fibromyalgia feels for some like a bad case of muscle soreness. You might feel like your muscles may have been pulled or overworked, resulting in an overall aching sensation and sense of fatigue. Sometimes the muscles in patient's burn and for some patients they actually twitch at times.
Many have described Fibromyalgia as being similar to having the flu, where all the muscles in your body hurt and you are tired all the time. Like a flu that never gets better.
It's important to recognize that every patient is different, thus Fibromyalgia will feel different for different patients at different times.
The symptoms of Fibromyalgia will also vary from day to day for the same patient. It is hard to offer an exact description of the condition because it is so varied and complex in nature.
What is important is that you recognize what is normal for you, as this will be different for everyone. Understanding the disease and the way it manifests is an important part of the healing process for most patients.
